A Trilogy of Poems about a Sunflower

Sprout

Born as Helianthus annuus,
the little sprout grows, chasing after the light,
filling life in a nameless void.

It is Heliotropism,
a gentle motion that wanders,
swaying within the light,

Soon, its wanderings cause it to bloom,
It embraces life in joyful brilliance.

Bloom

It blooms
in the mystery of Fibonacci’s formula,
granting space for the growth of each seed,
balanced between beauty and benefit.

Revealing a bond in unity within its majesty,
one by one, arranged in harmonious beauty.

A straight stem, upright in loyalty,
carrying its majesty without trembling.

Roots run deep, clinging tightly to the earth,
facing the wind with steady strength.

In the name known as "Sunflower,"
Yet its beauty bows gently to time.

Wither

A sunflower, fleeting in its grace, surrenders to nature.

It bids farewell,
just like the sun that promises to rise tomorrow.

It dies, leaving behind its usefulness,
bequeathing seeds of hope to those in need.
In parting, it leaves hues upon the passing seasons,
a sign of a beginning for something even more beautiful.
