Talks
Everyday is the same old
We talk and laugh full of love
And then everything goes cold
When is it ever enough?
I tell you about my day, you listen
You talk, I smile- it’s a routine now
But why is there so much tension
How much more can I allow
I hate this wall that we always come to
We used to strain from it, it never found us
Now it turns all our days dark and blue
The talks only end in an angry fuss
I want to scream at you, I do
But can I afford to lose you
And the mesmerising picture I drew
Of us together- it really is a nice view
