My Grandma Used To Say
My granny used to say:
We are not so rich
to buy cheap things.
Don't trust a son of a bitch
who pretends to be a king.
My granny used to say:
Meet the early morning light,
It's so Christianly right.
Always meet the dawn,
Jesus Christ had been born.
She used to say about money.
Honey, don't take other belongings!
Because you take others for a while,
Give back yours forever and ever.
Her wise advice was simple:
Visit sincerely the temple.
Don't tell your secrets to a stranger,
Otherwise, you'll get into danger.
Don't wear other people's clothes!
Don't give away your own things.
Stop counting the losses!
Take care of what your dear brings.
I beg you, dear and God bless.
Never connect with a married creature.
He may show you kindness
But happened to be a Beecher.
I tell you the truth, dear youth,
Don't wear another's coat!
Don't sail in another's boat!
If a man betrays his wife
He can't be in your life.
Always think about what you do.
Never make rash decisions
At first, find out who is who
Maybe you'll have a different vision.
If you leave then leave forever,
My granny used to say.
If only my Grandma could be alive,
I would do better things and strive.
I would go quite a different way,
I would listen to her words and say:
Hey! I obey and vow: I'll never betray!
