As for the overdue MOT, Julia, the NHS is shortly to be shunted into that cut-and-shut garage, staffed by consultants and vulture bankers, who will spew all sorts of propaganda about “black holes and bottomless pits”, which in reality are their own trouser pockets. It will be stripped of any viable parts, and the carcase left to rot. Job done, privatisation complete. Watch this space!

Graham, as applied to the NHS, the term ‘political football field’ is now a tired and tattered old cliché.
The very people who dragged the NHS onto that field are the ones whose money-grubbing neo-liberal ideology is antithetically opposed to any concept of public services which are “of the people, for the people, by the people”.

A timely nonet Julia.

* Until the NHS is removed from the political football field and is properly invested in by all parties and its ravaging waste controlled it will not recover!

Thanks Julia.
The NHS has been deliberately broken for the benefit of private entities.
In 2019, thousands of doctors wrote to PM Johnston telling him that the NHS was quote: "on its knees".
Nothing will change under this lot, who intend to carry on Blair's decimation (once praised by Thatcher).
Don't worry, says one of Starmers lot, I just happen to have a few friends in Big Pharma etc, who're short of a few quid...they'll come to its... ahem...."rescue".
