"The Uninvited Teachers"
I am the Unkind, with heart of stone,
My lessons are harsh, but never unknown.
I teach kindness, through my bitter ways,
Showing the world, a brighter, gentler phase.
I am the Diplomatic, with words so sly,
My honesty is veiled, but still, I try.
I teach truth, through my carefully crafted guise,
Revealing the value, of authenticity's prize.
I am the Talkative, with words that never cease,
My silence is golden, but only in release.
I teach stillness, through my endless, empty sound,
Showing the world, the beauty of quiet profound.
I am the Rude, with manners unrefined,
My understanding is rough, but still, I shine.
I teach compassion, through my rough, exterior hide,
Revealing the softness, that empathy provides.
I am the Unfriendly, with a distant, cold stare,
My friendships are scarce, but still, I show I care.
I teach connection, through my awkward, fumbling ways,
Showing the world, the beauty of human, heartfelt praise.
We may not be the most pleasant, or kind,
But our lessons are valuable, and forever aligned.
With the rhythms of life, and the beats of the heart,
We teach the world, to love, to grow, and to never depart.
