"The Savior Complex"

A boy's cry echoes, a desperate call,
"No one's coming to save me!" - he's bound to fall.
He searched for a hero, but found his own might,
A man-child, lost in darkness, without a guiding light.

He's got trophies and entitlement, a false sense of pride,
But life's harsh realities, his illusions will divide.
He's trapped in his own world, with no escape in sight,
A prisoner of his ego, lost in the dark of night.

The irony's rich, the satire's keen,
A generation of saviors, who can't even save their own dream.
So here he'll stay, forever lost, a man-child in pain,
A reminder that salvation, begins with self, not in vain.
