Poppy Slugshaw had had her benefits cut
So she needed to get a new job
And she used to do some office work
To earn an honest bob
But its a while since she'd worked in an office
And things had moved on since those days
She was more used to using a notebook and pen
And doing things old-fashioned ways
The office flirt was Dick
Who made a beeline for old Poppy
He said "nowadays we use computer disks"
And he showed her his seven inch floppy
Now.. Poppy was quite keen on Dick
And she'd got some legers to copy
And so she used this as her excuse
To see his seven inch floppy
Soon Poppy and Dick became lovers
And he took her home in his jalopy
It's funny how love can flourish
All down to his seven inch floppy.
