Gleaming Stars

What does it feel like to walk in the darkness?
Do you know it's filled only with loneliness?
But do you know how the stars ignite?
That is how hope in my night illuminates.

I walked in with lingering fear,
Then someone called me, "Hi, dear."
With open arms, he came near.
Then a light suddenly appeared.

Those kinds of people gave me a sight;
That there will always be a light,
To illuminate the darkness in my night.
But you need to have faith to make it bright.

Always then, I lift my gleaming stars;
One by one, they grace the darkened afar.
As I can tell, within the guise of hope,
They guide my path within a divine scope.
