My battle in life is solely with the demon within me.  
The struggle that appears outwardly,
Is an extension of the unfree me.  

She works to manipulate me,  
Blinding me to the truth I should see.  

I slap her when she says, "It's fine,"  
Just to make me understand,
That consequences are intertwined.  

In the end, there are only two places to retire;  
Surely, I won't let her place me into hellfire.
