Icarus

I fell into a fever of dreams

Where nothing was as it seems

The world had changed, liberty frail

Captain Ahab v the great white whale

I saw the moon turning red

The autumn leaves crisply dead

Underfoot and underhand

Fill the graves with shifting sands

When Heaven falls, Hell will rise

Through corporate suits, & silken ties

A very insightful and perceptive piece Stephen. Fly too high - you will crash and burn.

Hang about, Stephen! I was one of those corporate suits. No, wait a minute - mine was a corpulent suit from High and Mighty.
