Happy is he who leads

entry picture

I don't have millions, yet I could save these civilians.

Upon my cross, I bear witness clear,

To fractured ties and love insincere.

Fathers who falter, mothers who stray,

Brothers who chase bold courage away.

Desperation drives us to toil nine-to-five,

Depression our wage for so much wasted time.

Will this world ever be mine?

So many are waiting...

I guess I’d better wait in line.

The loss of a job is not the loss of life;

You’ve still got children and a loving wife.

You're richer than most keep that in sight.

Hold onto gratitude, and cherish the light.
