The scammer
I always asked myself how I’d die—
maybe they want it tragic.
I’ve always been the selfish one,
'cause I only think of life
without the secrets in my mind.
I saw it in the sky,
crying in front of the stone,
but I forgot my voice
after the truth was told.
Their wicked minds are full of lies—
they’ll always be
the scammers in your life.
Would you run, or die?
Writings of hate,
reflecting the wounds in your head.
The child inside you
screams to feel a heartbeat.
You said: “I’m afraid,”
but when you were high
in the backseat of your car,
you inhaled yourself to death.
But never mind—
you were a man,
that’s all you cared.
I hope your wife doesn’t mind
that she sleeps with a cheater in her bed.
To the woman with blonde hair—
remember the sacrifices you made.
The life you wasted
trying to change the scammer of your faith.
You bowed your head,
like a child who lost her father.
Your youth shattered on the ground,
fighting your own.
You moved your knight—
and the queen of the castle died.
Your family fell apart.
Humble guy, beautiful heart—
did he corrupt your mind?
He has the gift of cursed butterflies,
because he loves to destroy
what isn’t his.
You won’t know what’s real
until your life becomes his.
You said you’d never sell this friendship—
but you live in the sickness
of hollow people.
Don’t let your wife decide
between your arms
and the end of the scammer.
To the little one—sweet and kind,
healer and listener—
you’re a good guy.
Don’t let them take
your innocence or your mind.
That would be the end of the mirage.
Jumping in the creek,
you always understood me.
You’re only seventeen,
and I’m afraid
you’re the twin he needs.
You’ve got his eyes,
and I’m sorry to say—
you’ve inherited his gift of persuasion.
What a shame.
I put my word into this—
with ink, I seal my death.
I say what I think,
and I write what I want,
disguised in the acts
of what he truly is.
I’m not a savior—
just an old soul
who wants good in the land.
The scammer was found.
You hold the envelope of freedom.
Will you be his accomplice—
or the vigilante?
