I miss you everyday

But today I missed you hard.

I had gone and done something 

That I don't normally do

And I could imagine you so clearly...

You would have given me a big hug 

And eagerly asked, "So, how was it?"

I would have shared all the details

And over dinner we would analyze each one

And I would second guess myself

And you would reassure me that I did great

And as I lay my head on your shoulder,

I would feel how lucky I am to have you. 
 

So, yes, I missed you hard today.
