Conversations End

These conversations never end.
Repeated words still follow me again.
Every time I walk around the bend,
we talk this talk once again.
All the help that you did lend
kept me standing again and again,
but now I need to mend
life again.
And I don’t intend
to let these dreams drown again.
I defend
the choices I didn’t make then.
My dreams and life will blend.
It’s only a question of when,
so let these words no longer send
to somewhere I won’t return ever again.

Melissa…thought provoking poem. You have some unanswered issues there. Life is not always perfect. Be patient if this based on truth, if not just a muse shows a fine writes.

Thank you,
Zuzanna
