Hello all you fellow brief, mortal beings gins trying to make a tiny little bit of an impact in an otherwise orderless and grey world.  Let’s paint it.  Paint it with poetry!  Or some bullocks like that.  Anyway, I’ve been doing some Open Mics ‘round York, Leeds and Harrogate.  Speaker’s Corner hosted by Mr. Oz Hardwick, Click Clack hosted by the bizarre Mr. Ashley Reaks and recently Lyrically Justified at Carpe Diem in Leeds, all nice places for all your poetry needs.  I’ve got quite a few little shows coming up (though isn’t every second of every day a show for some audience...?) but instead of typing them all out here (as Lydon sang:  “I’m a lazy sod”) check out my myspace www.myspace.com/henrythepoet for info and extra tracks, more piccies and an in-depth look at my influences (everything from Camus to Trapdoor).  Any info on Open Mics or poetry events in the Yorkshire area will be most appreciated.  Now what are you doing wasting your time reading this!  Get out there and get exerting your will to power, and be quick about it!  That will ain't gonna exert itself, ya know!
