Ceasefire of the senses
Brush a cushioned foot
Across dune curtained outlets
Toe a line.
Distance is soundproof
Almost silent but the wind
Flickering mild suggestions
Of breeze.
Was there somebody else there?
Vivid images - to vivid thoughts - to a moment caught vividly. Outstanding are 'smoke string ribbon cooling on a brim of stars' and 'ceasefire of the senses' etc. I really liked the formatting also: a small effort for such big effect. The single line turn at the end is very emphatic, and exciting.
