Nothing More, Nothing Less.

You kiss me differently,

Lacking in sincerity.

It's hard to believe you are more

When you will always mean less to me.

You kiss me differently,

Leave instantly,

Whereas he would make breakfast.

You keep me a secret,

He made me known.

You like to fuck me,

He used to love me.

That must be the difference.

He kisses me on the cheek before he leaves,

As you start walking I close the door quickly.

He is nothing less,

You are nothing more to me.

ta, the poem refers to two different 'lads' who feature in my life. 'you' is simply a person who i have an odd attachment with and 'he' was somebody i was and still am very much in love with, the contrasts explain why really-the two are very similar though ha xx

Georgina, is this 'tired familiarity' fighting with the memories of 'original loving attentions'? I get the feeling that 'You' and 'He' are the same person.
