In vain

entry picture

Something weird is happening to me nowadays, whenever I want to write, I just don’t know what to say, although I can feel the words hidden somewhere.

What’s wrong with me? Why I can’t be myself? When I’m the one who used to find words and easily arranged!

As if I’m paralyzed, lost control of my body parts, as if something is dragging me away and wants me to obey, in an endless sea is taking me, where the waves is making me sway, drown in the middle of nowhere.

Sometimes it's by reading other peoples work we can gain inspiration to try writing in a different style than we're used to.
This may sound a bit silly but try having a conversation with the words going around in your head and write what comes as it comes.
I think you'd be amazed at the results.
Sometimes we just try too hard. Janet.x

Hi Mirna, you've poetically summed up your feelings here. I think it's something we all suffer from! To be fair you're probably burnt out after last couple of weeks. I've enjoyed reading and commenting on your work, hope you've appreciated my comments!

As Daniel said a quiet time is a good time to read and become a crytic of other poets work! Best wishes Jeff

Just relax and let it go. When the words have found their right order they will come forth in procession to the page.

A quite time is never in vain. I use them to read others poetry. It adds fuel to the fire beneath my muse.
