Borderlands: poetry from the edges of Europe
Words On Monday at London’s Kings Place, this Monday 16 May features Borderlands, an evening of poetry from the edges of Europe, exploring the idea of geographical and cultural borders, what they mean to the human psyche and the creative work of poets from the “borderlands”. The evening features Lithuanian poet Marcelijus Martinaitis, joined by Robert Bebek (Croatia), Marzanna Kielar (Poland) and Daniel Jonas (Portugal). It starts at 7 pm, tickets £9.50. Kings Place on York Way is a few minutes’ walk from King’s Cross and St Pancras stations. Map
