Poetry in the park at Wolverhampton
Poetry in the Park is an invitation to Wolverhampton residents and beyond to come along and meet local poets on Tuesday 24 May from 7-9pm at Bantock House museum and park. Appearing are Tony Stringfellow and Jane James, with special guest, Jamaican poet Yasus Afari. Contact Liz at Finchfield Community Association on 01902 429184 or 07711 569 489 if you are a local poet and want to take part. This is a free event – families are welcome and tickets are available for priority for seats in the Tractor Shed from Uplands School, Bantock House, Finchfield Community Association, Finchfield Co-op and Finchfield Library. Bring your picnic from 6pm if the weather is good. In the Tractor Shed if the weather is not so good, or in the park by the house if the weather is glorious – come with picnic chairs or rugs.
