Wigan’s Stanza poetry group is looking to recruit new members. Wigan’s agenda includes sharing information on competitions, events, open mics, and workshops. In addition every month a member will volunteer to bring along a poem or piece of writing to share and for the group to discuss. There are also writing exercises as well as the chance for members to bring along their own poems to share and get feedback. Stanza groups are run under the aegis of the Poetry Society. Wigan Stanza meetings take place on the fourth Tuesday of every month, from 7-9 pm.  The venue is Little Fifteen, 17 – 19 Wallgate, Wigan.
