Pete Crompton is the compere and Susie Mason is guest poet at Write Out Loud Wigan at the Tudor on Thursday night, 9 June. The Wigan WOL open mic event has been likened  to “a bit of a bearpit” by some and described by others as “the best performance poetry event in the north-west” with “a special mix of  the absurd, comic, poignant”.  The fun begins at 8.30 pm at the Tudor House Hotel, in New Market Street.
