One of the initial members of  Write Out Loud with a hugely-growing reputation gave our website an enormous plug this week in an interview with Radio Manchester.

Poet and writer Tony Walsh – Longfella – was being interviewed about his upcoming role as website Poet-in-Residence at the Glastonbury festival. Tony, who will be launching his debut poetry collection and CD Tall Stories and the Truth at Glastonbury, and as co-headliner at the opening night of the Ledbury poetry festival a week later, told Radio Manchester’s Heather Stott of a “fantastic” website called Write Out Loud which was “a really good starting point for people to share their poetry” as well as pointing people towards the thriving live poetry scene.

You can listen to the interview at

Tony’s interview starts about 2 hours 09 minutes in. Thanks for the mention Longfella!
