Today Dave Dunn is sixty.

Sixty is not so little,

Sixty is not so much.

Sixty is the golden age.

Dave is on his highest stage.

At sixty a road to wisdom is open,

So, without any moping

I wish you to go only frontwise.

Never to fall!

But if it happens,

Have enough strength to rise

And go on your life way

Without any delay.

Congratulations!

From the bottom of my heart!

Congratulations!

Your poetry  is so smart!

Congratulations!

You are my dearest friend!

With people like you

It’s easier to live on the land.

Your poetry is so good,

Inspires me and change my mood.

It’s happiness to be your friend,

To know yon and understand.

You  have God’s spark

With your poetry to inspire.

Your poetry is a playing lyre

Me and others so much admire.

Dave Dunn is already sixty,

Dave Dunn is only sixty.

My dearest  friend!

Never mind that hair turned gray.

The age of your soul is more important.

Don’t listen to those who say:

I am tired and hesitant one.

Live tireless life and have fun!

Sixty candles light up on the cake!

Take enough breath to blow them out!

Forsake the past for God’s sake!

Live without any doubt!
