Our Guest Poet

‘Alan Johnson’

Alan Johnson’s poetry is all about a passion for life, whether that is romance or nature, love or the summer, dealing with the turbulence of life… the leaves on the trees or lust! Recently published in a collaborative piece by the BBC (Driftwood)

His words…sometimes as strong as cobbles, at other times as delicate as gossamer.

Our Guest Musicians

‘Kathy and Emma Runswick’

Kathy is a resident singer and compare at ‘Folk at the Manor’ folk club on the Wirral, she has a fine voice and stage presence. Kathy’s daughter Emma is a rising star on the folk scene, she has a soaring sweet voice and certainly knows how to play the guitar. Folk music to go hand in glove with our poetry.
