A man should read his newspaper

Allus t'back to t'front.

You start with all the footy news-

Which manager's for t'sack

Then t'cricket scores and t'horse-racing

Then start advancing back.

It's very hard to tell these days

Now everything's PC

Which side a fella's batting for

(At least it is to me!).

But papers are significant;

The only people skimming

A newspaper from t'front to t'back

Are batty boys and women”.
