TIN MAN
by Laurence Wilson
Jessica’s troubled mother had made a promise to her before she died of a heroin overdose, a promise to build the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, but she only left her a funnel for the head. Now living with grandparents who don’t want her, Jessica has snuffed out all emotion in a bid to survive. But when the Tin Man she builds comes to life and takes her on an extraordinary journey which forces her to look within, can she cope with what she finds?
Jodie Comar, Ian Puleston Davies, Lisa Parry, Jeff Hordley, David Hargreaves,
Eileen O’Brien and Paul Duckworth star in this powerful and magical drama set in contemporary Liverpool, where the Tin Man is made from pain and there is no ‘somewhere over the rainbow’.
