Microbes, looking

There are over three hundred thousand living things

In this full stop.

Each one,

Microbacterium, surviving.

A sphere of darkness

Above their world, fragile

Micro ceiling,

A heaven of their own to blame.

Microbes

Looking up for light extinct or pure

As before, a creature glint to prove

They are not like us.
