the removal men
The removal men
The egg timer was his biggest enemy
It tainted his good looks
And cramped his style
Despite its ergonomic
And obvious female curves
It had chipped his best bone china
Made loose the spouse insider parts
And whilst the silver, he was told
Made him the big sophisticated refiner-
And His knowledge makes the perfect dining companion
He still felt uneasy inside
As though a wrinkle may erupt at any moment
Sprinkling his chiselled jaw
With the hundreds and thousands of hours
a realisation
That he is no longer invincible
Makes A prickly thought indeed
One at odds
That even the best mute blonde
cannot temper.

How very true this is.
I've lost count of the people i've spoken to who
think the grass is greener, only to realize, sometimes too late, that it was
a lack in their own make-up.
A weakness for a boost to their ego.
