she is strontium 90

My ex Wife is strontium 90
she just wont go away
has a half life of several hundred years
can cut through any wall I lay
took the car
the house the kids
my smalls
took pride and pleasure
in lifting the lid
on all my insecurities
so silent the mechanism
works while you sleep
she splits cells
in the neck and neap of skin
the cold place where she slept
laced with radioactivity
my leaden bed
weighs more than saturn
and she is on my back
and I can trace the twisted trail
down the path
derailed
you are
lingering
fallout
it never ends

Errr. Do you think, maybe. Just maybe, Pete should have posted this one darling?

My ex-husband wouldn't agree with you for this poem.
Love Janet.xx
