Walk Through Rain

I cut across the square

Toward warm light

Reflected in stone.

My perseverance through persistence

Draws a line to the vanishing point of purpose.

Light on the pavement

Each footfall Played teasingly

On the diffusion of light.

This I remember as a recalling

Years ago and with the rain clouding my mind.

Reinforcement, the image I made I sustain

While it is scattered

Across a stretch of times timelessly,

For a moment, I hold an endeavour,

Hold a purpose.

So demands the end.

In every eternity

There is no purpose

To cause a cessation.

Split between a flow

Every tiny tiny drop

Of remembering formed together,

Demands an end,

A moment to last forever.
