Our Guest Poet
WOL's very own Yorkshire Bard! 'John Coopey'
John's poetry is; Metrical, nonsensical, hysterical, serious or sad…It’s Nostalgical lol
It’s been known to be historical and industrial, witty and self-knowledgable- atypical and sexual, crafted and conceptual!!!
Above all- it’s always
Warm.
It’s NOT be missed!
John’s worth seeing too- apparently he’s a Dead Horse and Donkey Buyer!
Our Guest Musician
'Alan Ainsworth'
accompanied by Brian Longman
Alan is a phenomenally skilled guitar player, but more importantly he’s a songwriter’s songwriter. His words are coloured by his Scottie road (Liverpool) upbringing, time in the navy and understanding of the human condition;
Songs of conscience- woven with heartbreak, but also with care.
Open mic poetry -
