This is a call for submissions for a new Bolton poetry mag!

textyle, a new bolton poetry magazine based at the university of bolton invites submissions of poetry, articles related to poetry and illustration/art work from students and staff of the university or anyone who lives in or comes from bolton.

there is no theme or topic for poetry submissions – a wide range of ‘subjects’, approaches and styles are encouraged. On a stylistic / technical level, however, the first issue aims to explore different ways of creating texture and evoking a sense of place in poetry and invites comment and art work on these themes: please see the website for more info.

please send up to 100 lines of poetry, articles of up to 2000 words or artwork / illustration to the editor, lucy burnett, by email to textylemagazine@yahoo.co.uk or by post to 11 manor avenue, whalley range, manchester m16 8dx.

deadline: 31st March 2007

please include a note of whether you are a student or staff member at the university of bolton, or of what your other link is to bolton (live there, come from there etc etc). the editor would also be interested in the three words you best think describe bolton?
