Bang Said The Gun: Manchester (“stand-up poetry for those that don’t like poetry”) launches its autumn season of weekly poetry nights at the Old Nags Head, in Jacksons Row, off Deansgate, on Thursday 13 September with Mike Garry. Entry: £5/£3. From 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Hosts are Dominic Berry, Kieren King, Rod Tame, Dave Viney and Benny-jo Zahl.
