Many of the Poetry School’s autumn term courses and workshops start next week, so you’ll have to get in quick if there's something you've got your eye on.

Highlights include Ros Barber's Saturday poetry feedback sessions in London, John McCullough's historical figures course and Kate Potts' starting new poems course (both online), Gillian Allnutt's poetry course on reflection in Durham and Rachael Boast's poems in progress course in Bristol.

Each Poetry School activity has three prices listed – standards, over-60s, and concessionary (25 and under, full-time students, and those receiving job seekers allowance, income support or pension credit, or those who sole source of income is the state retirement pension). If you aren’t eligible for the concessionary rate but can’t afford the full cost of a course you can apply for a grant.
