War Cry feat. Noetic-fret!
Sahara April
This little girl be no strange little girl,
She is a baby,
No stranger,
No strange inclinations
Born of colour – no prejudicial ideas
Taught from strange folk
With strange little minds for;
She knows not the resentment of
A callous World.
This little girl be no stranger
To Mother and to Father,
Or brother too as,
While she’s been nestling –
We have all been scurrying
To prepare her coming,
And I as Pa and Ma too; insist
That she and brother both
Be afforded human respect,
Human rights we ‘all’
Should be awarded.
This little girl is loved,
This little girl is adored –
And the hope,
Is for a world for her to grow;
To cease incessant argument
Release and teach a foe
Of ignorance,
For she knows not
The conflict of the past.
She is no stranger to our world!
Many babes have come and grown
And gone – yet,
She is the knowingness of love
From Mum and Dad and
We’re glad to walk with you
A fleeting while upon the Earth,
For within a new found confidence
We know that love
Can reward all,
Reward all without
A need to fight.
We are Zulu,
We are English – we are Human,
We are unity crossing borders
We are the love we all can be,
We are a family,
A family here before a
Universal Spirit
And as Sahara April
Walks and rises through her
Growing years,
We pray ‘we all’
Be guided and accept;
For although the worlds
Becoming very small,
The ‘Universe of Man’
Be even greater.
Little babe!
Little babe – little girl,
Years may come and go
But be brave against
A world where the loudest
State objections within antiquity,
For some will just never understand,
Be brave little girl,
And always know the love
From mother and from father,
For we’re always watching over,
Within the kindred of a Universal Spirit,
Where life can encompass all.
