Austin Fridge !!

entry picture

I’m  driving  my  fridge  ,  it’s  a  terrible  green
There  are    icicles    where  the  heater  had  been
There’s  a  snowdrift  ,  and   glacier ,  all  round  my  feet
And   ice  in  the  boot
Where  I  keep  the  raw  meat  .

I’m  driving  and  driving  far  down  the  road
I  can’t  see  a  thing  the  window   so  froze  and
I  can’t  see a  thing    my  breath  chills  the  air
I’d  stop  and  de-ice  ,  but  the  scraper’s  not  there

The  scraper’s  not  there  ‘cos  it  broke  yesterday
I  know  ,  I  was  trying  to  chip  ice  blocks  away
The  seat  where  I  sit    has  chilled  me  to  the  bone
I’ve  miles  to  go ,  I’m  turning  to  stone

So  if  you  have  a  bust  heater  take  my  advice
Get  it  fixed  now  ,  don’t  turn  to  ice
Don’t  turn  to ice  ,  don’t  start  to  sneeze
I’m  driving  about
In  a  terrible  deep  freeze ,
I  can’t  feel  anything
Below  me  knees .
