            This no longer a home,

Never was the place I wanted to stay,

     This world, unfortunate and blue

Looks so inviting from a darkened hue,

But truth persists the witness to the

Rose and thorn of a dying sun.

            The blues and greens of

A celestial being gone mad, trapped

Within the junction of Heaven and

     Earth, the puncture placed

Through and through again – a

Broken heart.

     God smacked, infinite fear

Neither harsh nor serene foretells

A scream within the void, a sea

Of life, set to sea of tears,

            Nothing more desired,

But for a bullet run.

I keep reading and re-reading your work and never quite get round to leaving a comment. It is definitely and complexly, multi-layered. Like Nabila, I felt I could identify with it, I'm not sure though that I felt a wistful quality - it felt more like a song of despair to me, sad and haunting. But a good read, neverthelss

Thanks for your comments on 'Confetti', all feedback always appreciated.

Hi Mike, Thanks very much for your comments. I've just had a look through some of your work, and I definitely get the sense that you might have the infamous "thousand mile stare" in person. Very detailed work but quite a succinct message. Also "Humans are flowers..." I very much enjoyed, it has a wistful quality that really slows down the train of thought to a more contemplative tempo. Thanks again!
