I am a poet I bleed ink
I think in verse
This is my gift and my curse
But it’s worth creating a poem and giving it form
Creating a piece of poetry and watching it being born
then watching it touch people’s lives
in ways you never thought possible
but all things are possible where poetry is concerned!
The last line is linked to the above line it is a statement of hope it can touch peoples lives and make things happen that you don't expect I am always impressed by poetrys ability to touch people and change thier lives!
I agree with Janet over this is my gift and my curse line... I think it is probably is a bit rough in places, and I am not sure about the last line but I like the sentiment behind it! Would be interested in knowing your thoughts behind it!

Interesting concept and like the like as Janet did. Think you should develop it but decide whether or not it should rhyme or be a list of statements about what poetry does, look forward to final version! cheers Jeff
