Spring Has Sprung
In the fields lambs are a leaping and rabbits bounding,
March marches on and blossom engulfs the trees,
I wander amongst the snowdrops and tulips,
Daffodils fall at my feet as I am refreshed by the breeze,
A shower turns to a snow flurry and rains down on me,
The weather is definitely confused.com and so am I,
Umbrellas at the ready is the order of the day,
Splashing through puddles under a stormy sky,
Pancake Day is a distant memory and lent is spent,
A rainbow kisses the sunny horizon for evermore,
Butterflies dart around my blooming garden,
Good Friday just knocked on my door,
I am so egg cited – Happy Easter everyone,
Spring has finally sprung.
