Poetry club members from New Brighton in Wirral are to perform as part of Liverpool Literary Festival ‘In Other Words’. Member of the Bards, who usually meet monthly in the Magazine pub, New Brighton, will give live readings at the Liver Bards Lit Fest event at the Ship & Mitre, Dale Street, Liverpool city centre on Monday 6 May, from 8pm to 10.30pm. The event is a celebration of the strong grassroots tradition of live poetry in the  region. The event will be hosted by the Bards and Liver Bards founder Steve Regan. Admision is free and all are welcome to attend. New poets and all styles are welcome.
