In the twilight zone of the world stronger colours are subdued and fall
away like rose petals, sacrificed.
In this place of fallen colours a spectral world of shadows long
and hideous live and move and die as grey and black strive
to rule absolute, eternally.
Seen from space this eventide twilight is a moving ring
on our world bringing dusk, falling night.
Hours later she repeats herself as dawn is reborn, a virgin day
of new shallow colours slowly coming to strength with the daylight.
An endless cycle of death of life, of night and day, circular ways
of the sky, the sun and the moon and our planet.
