'Chocolate Pudding and Jesus Christ is the story of two young people growing up in Liverpool, Rani is Asian and Kerry is white. They both don't fit in at school or at home and strike an unusual friendship which covers their insecurities. As they get older, their differences start to tear them apart. Rani changes as her father becomes a victim in a racist attack and Kerry wants to cling on to her family regardless of their racist views. Chocolate Pudding and Jesus Christ is a story of belonging, betrayal and change, set in a city where culture is the barrier.'
