Neighbours

Not many moons ago,

I heard new neighbours were coming.

So I walked to the top of the garden,

where the fairies live.

I spoke with the fairies

I asked them could they bring a family,

that would be kind to me,

then I made a wish.

 

I twitched my nose,

winked my eye,

circled three times

and faced north.

 

The fairies brought,

a kind lady,

two princess's,

one named Samara,

one Tiana.

If you add them up,

that counts three.

The topic of 'Good Neighbours' in this little ditty is very relevant to us all. Good choice.

Lucky you. Mine are surly sods. Maybe if I did the same and faced south theyd go away.

I like the mystical feel to your poem. You should write fairy stories or song lyrics like Enya.
