Makar Making in Scotland
Sheena Blackhall will be inaugurated Makar of the North East of Scotland at 6.30pm on 30th April 2009 at Books & Beans, Brlmont Street, Aberdeen - admission Free.
Sheena is a distinguished and prolific poet in Doric, Scots and English. She is internationally recognised as an outstanding contemporary writer. We are privileged to have her among us. At this event Sheena will read her poems and most likely also sing.
The evening, brought to you by Dead Good Poets (Scotland) in association with North-East writers' groups, will, as always, include an open mic session. All welcome.
