Japanese poet Hideko Sueoka's 'Owl' wins £2,500 Troubadour prize

A Japanese poet, Hideko Sueoka, from Tokyo, has won the £2,500 Troubadour poetry prize with her poem, ‘Owl’. Second was Mona Arshi, from London, with ‘Bad Day in the Office’, and third was Tim Nolan, from the US, with ‘Red Wing Correctional facility’. The prize is organised by Coffee-House Poetry, and the judges were George Szirtes, and Deryn Rees Jones. You can read the winning poems and full list of winners here
