Jo Bell is a former director of National Poetry Day, and currently the UK canal laureate, appointed by the Poetry Society and Canal and River Trust. She lives aboard a 67ft narrowboat in the Midlands. Runner-up and third in the competition were Dorothy Coventon and Simon Pomery. More details
