Heralds change of season

sort of an age old trend.

 

With overthrow of the evil

all goodness must extend

 

Most whites get splattered

with most colored imprints 

 

Unrecognizable are faces

with exotic evocative tints

 

This day all gets forgiven

each and every act is fair

 

Done with pompous gaiety

the great show and lot flair

 

Almost all are in frenzy

children women and men

 

Frolicking is  unabated

with undying sort of yen

  

It is cause for one to drink

and indulgent free for all

 

Frivolities get let off today

even actions those appall

 

Abundant different colors

what a joyful kind of bliss

 

All look forward to eagerly

that no one wants to miss
