Bring on the Fusion

entry picture

The thunder of the street; the rhythm of the heart

Where should help begin?

What's the communities' part?

Money comes in; some wanted and some unplanned.

Agencies that work separately,

need to share the same hymn sheet.

Separate boats sailing or rowing; racing across our turf.

Merge your boards, catch the next wave

then together we  will surf.

Atop the white horses we ride,

pool our efforts side by side,

reaching out for common goals,

all differences put aside.

Communities that are sustained alone,

upon the working fields of Trafford,

risk isolation from their neighbours

through no fault their own.

Such initiatives risk a poor harvest,

without early imput from residence,

and are lost to dreams of a brighter tomorrow.

Communities can ill afford people pulling this way and that,

it only serves the confusion.

Let us all take out the 'con' leaving a community with fusion.

Hi Phil,
"merge your boards, catch the next wave.
then together we will surf, atop the white horses we ride, pool our efforts side by side."

Truly lovely words and sentiment. Good imagery too in many places.
Community spirit is lacking in so many places these days but there are like minded groups popping up here and there too so maybe there is hope for the future.
