Poetry and song from folk opera trio at St Ives literature festival
Cornish Women on the Verge – Nickie Reed, Sue Famer, and Ann Foxglove - will be performing two folk operas using poetry and song about artist and mariner Alfred Wallis and John Harris, miner, preacher and poet at St Ives literature festival, which runs from 10-17 May. There are also daily doses of poetry and music in the square, with Bob Devereux, plus workshops, readings and open mics. More details
